Noonbarra Butch was half the normal Noonbarra line we carry today and half of the more modern (1980's) Rockybar trial line. We were trying to achieve a nice balance between general mustering, mob & yard work and a certain amount of eye and style. We think we did pretty well. We owned and trained Rockybar Valerie from a pup and we knew Glendon Claude and his working style well. We owned a lot of the Kelpies in this pedigree and the knowledge of knowing the behaviour and styles of the Kelpies that make up our bloodlines help us to understand the genetic traits we get from our breeding program.
