STOCKWORK
Below are some links to Noonbarra Kelpies sold for doing stockwork. This is by no means all the correspondence on this subject and many individual dogs are dual purpose doing stockwork and companions and perhaps Dog Sports as well. We tend to get back much more written correspondence and photos from families and small farmers than we do from the big sheep and cattle stations which more often or not just give a phone call once a year or even every few years.
More important is that these customers who need reliable, hard working natural dogs, come back again and again to buy their Kelpies from us. Some go and look at other breeders or even buy a few dogs from others but then return to buy Noonbarra Kelpies. People like Ron Robb, Vic Mayall, Ian Hoy, Allan Carter, John Maxfield, Pam & Greg Cummings, John Parrington, Robert Hood, Staale Oye, Merilyn Mucahy, Geoff Evers, and many others have bought two, three and even four or five Noonbarra Kelpies often over a period of 15 or 20 years.
Ron Robb is typical and bought four of our Kelpies starting in the mid 1980's and wrote; "I have been happy with all of the Kelpies I bought from you."
Others have said things such as "Her ability is natural. She has taught me sheepwork", or this from Texas in America; "I guarantee there are no dogs over here like yours" or this comment from a stockman out west; "Tina was one of the few great females I've ever owned. I used her around the shearing sheds and a lot of shearing contractors wanted to buy her.".
